I started Martial arts at the age of 13 as I was bullied at school from about 8 years old. Weirdly about 5 years ago I had one of the bullies who was an instigator of my childhood, contact me and apologise for their behaviour, but I just told them I have no ill feeling as if it wasn’t for them I may not have learnt any form of Martial Arts and in fact I thanked them.

So, firstly learning Aikido for about 15 Months, as well as secretly Boxing (Parents didn’t want me to do it). I took a couple of years out of martial arts but kept my training up privately. Until, I found a sport Karate school where I disciplined in this for 3 years, and then I also started with Lau Gar for several years. Eventually Training in Kickboxing, and pressure point fighting. After Starting a martial School, I started training in Krav Maga and thus completing my full circle of training.

I have had several fights throughout my time, with a record of 15 fights, 15 wins, 11 by knockout.

I have learnt a lot in my life with martial arts, holding blackbelts in 3 disciplines.

The one thing I love about teaching is seeing people doing what they thought was impossible, only for them to achieve their dream and goal. Martial arts do change the way you are and your life. You have a respect for life, and others
