Description:

This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of aromatherapy services incl, how to use blended oils with your current massage skills and the blending of essential oils and carrier oils for use with other media. You will receive details of over 30 essential oils & 19 carrier oils in which to study and incorporate into your treatments. PLEASE NOTE - you will learn a foot massage with this course, this is aimed for therapists who are already massage trained, or for people wishing to make their own aromatherapy products.

Option: Aromatherapy Blending Accredited Diploma

Pre-requisites (entry level):

A massage qualification. A&P is also recommended.

An anatomy and physiology accredited course can be studied alongside this course.

Course format:

Practical attendance 1 day practical to learn how to blend essential oils + home study (incl., Pre course reading) + case studies. Training material is accessed through our online portal

Course content:

Health, safety & hygiene, client care & communications, aromatherapy services (blending of essential oils), essential oils, carrier oils.

Duration:

The home study can be started at anytime, please ask for available course dates.

Attendance:

1 practical attendance session.

Model Required?:

Group training = No, students will work on each other.

One to one training = Yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical training to practice your routine on.

Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.

Case studies:

You are required to complete 3 treatments as case studies.
