For the therapists who are already trained in massage and wish to learn the art of aromatherapy and how to select and blend essential oils specifically for their clients needs, then this is the training course for you. A massage qualification is required to enrol on this course or any therapy in which you wish to incorporate the use of the aromatherapy oils on your clients with.

This course is carried out as a home study course and can be started at anytime.

Pre-requisites (entry level):

There are no formal prerequisite qualifications that you must have prior to enrolling on this course, however, you will need to hold a qualification in the therapy you wish to incorporate the use of essential oils with, i.e., massage, reiki.

Course format:

Online learning (incl pre course reading, a video demonstration of the routine & audio presentation) + case studies. + live video assessment option (to gain accredited qualification from ABT Insurance)

Training material is accessed through our online portal

Training materials: This includes - downloadable course modules in pdf format, video demonstration of the routine, an audio / video presentation just like being taught in a classroom, Printable notes, and access to a comments section to ask questions to the tutor)

Live video assessment: If you opt for the live video assessment, you will have the opportunity, once you have studied the modules, to a video call with your tutor to discuss any questions and run through any practical demonstrations of the routine. You will then schedule your live video assessment, to complete your course.

Attendance:

No attendance required. This course is completed via online learning, with live video assessment option.

A date is booked with your assessor for your assessment.

Duration:

Model Required?:

Yes, you will be required to work on models to carry out your case studies at home.

Case studies:

You are required to complete 5 treatments as case studies.
