This online gel polish course is about providing nail treatments. You will learn about consulting with the client, recognising any contra-indications, preparing for the service and producing a treatment plan, applying, maintaining and removing gel nail polish, including preparation of the nail.

Course format:

Online learning (incl pre course reading) + case studies. + live video lesson/assessment

Training material is accessed through our online portal

Training materials: This includes - downloadable course modules in pdf format, Printable notes, and access to a comments section to ask questions to the tutor

Live video lesson / assessment: Once you have studied the modules, you will then schedule your live video lesson/assessment, to complete your course.

• Health & safety for therapists online course - FREE
• Listening skills for therapists online course - FREE

All courses must be studied before your video lesson

Attendance:

No attendance required. This course is completed via online learning, with live video assessment

Duration:

This course is carried out as a home study course and can be started at anytime. This course is approx. 1 day of online study (this does vary from student to student.)

Model Required?:

Online lesson/assessment = You are required to carry out a treatment on a model, to include consultation and aftercare.

Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.

Case studies:

You are required to complete 3 treatments as case studies.

Accreditation body:

* IPHM - International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine

* ABT accredited qualification, (please book this option if you require ABT qualification)

An accredited certificate emailed to you on successful completion of the course.

Career Opportunities:

Self-Employed nail technician working from home, salon, Spa or Mobile.
