Description:
The VTCT Level 2 Award in LED Gel Polish Techniques is a single unit award qualification about applying, maintaining and removing LED gel polish products to the nails.
This qualification aims to enable you to enhance the ranges of services and techniques offered to nail services clients.
This qualification also covers the skills and knowledge required to prepare for the service and maintain effective health, safety and hygiene working practices throughout the treatment.
Qualification Option:
VTCT Level 2 Award in LED Gel Polish Techniques
Prerequisite / Entry level:
1. A manicure & / or pedicure qualification
AND,
2. You are required to undertake the following qualification (this can be studied alongside this course, but must be completed prior to practical assessments) - Infection Prevention (Covid-19) for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services VTCT Level 2
Course format:
3 days practical/assessment + home study
Coursework based: Home study and portfolio of evidence containing questions and
assignment work. Training material is accessed via our online portal

Unit UBT19 - Apply LED gel polish

This is self-paced and can be started at anytime.

3 practical training / assessment days

GLH (Guided Learning Hours): 10.

Group training = No, students will work on each other.
One to one training = Yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical training to practice your routine on.
