This course in Stress Management Strategies has been designed to develop further the knowledge and understanding of the complementary therapist of stress and the strategies used to manage stress.
Through this course you will develop your interpersonal skills while expanding your understanding of providing complementary therapies within a healthcare setting. More specifically, you will explore the principles of stress, strategies used to cope with stress as well as methods of mentoring a client with stress.

Practical attendance 1 day practical + home study + case studies. Training material is accessed through our online portal
Interpersonal skills, working within a healthcare environment, understanding stress, Mentoring clients with stress using stress management techniques
1 Practical day
The home study can be started at anytime
Group training = No, students will work on each other.
One to one training = Yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical training to practice your routine on.
Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.
You are required to complete 3 treatments as case studies.
ABT, The Complementary Medical Association, International Institute for Complementary Therapists
An accredited certificate emailed to you on successful completion of the course.
This qualification is designed to lead employment in a variety of roles, either self-employed, in a complementary therapy clinic, beauty or spa facilities or private practice. This qualification may also lead to employment within a hospital, hospice or other healthcare environments. As an accredited course, you may wish to advance your skills and take further accredited or VTCT qualifications, and this may be a requirement in order to gain insurance or membership with some organisations.
