Welcome to the VTCT Level 3 Award in Invigilating tests and examinations

The VTCT Level 3 Award in Invigilating Tests and Examinations is a vocational qualification that has been designed to prepare you to invigilate internal and external tests and examinations. Throughout this qualification you will develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare examination rooms and resources, prepare learners for tests and examinations, implement invigilation requirements for internal and external tests and examinations and end tests and examinations. You will also learn about policy and the procedures underpinning the conduct of tests and examinations. This qualification is assessed in accordance with the Training and Development Agency’s (TDA) assessment principles and will require you to gather the majority of your evidence in the workplace. 

On completion of the course you will be awarded VTCT qualification.

To complete this course, you must:

  • Complete every module in this online platform
  • Complete all the questions/tasks in each module of this online platform, this is your required coursework.
  • Attend your assessment. This will consist of you invigilating students, carrying out examinations
  • Submit your portfolio of work for assessing and internal and external assessment.

All of the above will be explained in depth in subsequent modules.
