This combined massage course in Complementary therapies is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills by achieving qualifications in body massage, Aromatherapy blending (to use in combination with the massage & reflexology) & Reflexology. Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of how to monitor and maintain health and safety practices in a salon environment, and how to communicate and provide excellent client care in beauty & complementary therapies related industries. You will also develop underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills gained throughout this qualification. The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in massage, aromatherapy & reflexology to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own complementary therapy services.
Upgrade path option available to our VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies Course. Additional dates MUST be taken at our Bideford, Devon venue ONLY. Please ask for upgrade path fee.
Complementary Therapy accredited diploma
You are required to hold an anatomy and physiology qualification, or you can study our course alongside this. We are currently offering our anatomy & physiology course free of charge if you study alongside this course.

Home study (Coursework): This can be started at anytime,
5 practical sessions
Group training = No, students will work on each other.
One to one training = Yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical training to practice your routine on.
Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.
You must carry out and document evidence for at least 9 treatments per subject (3 clients x 3 treatments PER therapy. i.e., 9 treatments for massage, 9 treatments for reflexology & 9 treatments for aromatherapy).

An accredited certificate emailed to you on successful completion of the course (1 for body massage, 1 for aromatherapy massage & 1 for reflexology).
Self-Employment or Employment as a complementary therapist
You will need to purchase your own products (massage medium), equipment (e.g. massage couch / chair, hot stones set and heater) in order to carry out your case studies & practice your skills at home. We also recommend you purchase a text book to support your learning, a recommended reading list is supplied with your training pack.
