Description:

This course will show you how to safely and effectively use an EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulator) Machine. The treatment is where an electrical current is used to stimulate the effect of toning exercises where repetition of movement is usually required to improve the strength and tone of the muscles. The pads create a tightening / toning effect. A great course to add for sports / deep tissue therapists or therapists who work with weight / health management.

This course complements our other beauty electrical courses.

EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulator) Accredited

Entry level:

Level 2 Beauty Therapy (For ABT accreditation)

Or,

Sports massage qualification & A&P (For IPHM accreditation)

Course format:

1 day practical + home study + case studies.

Training material is accessed via our online portal

* EMS treatment

* Health & Safety Online course FREE

* Listening skills online course FREE

The home study can be started at anytime, please ask for available course dates

Model Required?:

Group training = NO, students will work on each other

One to one training = Yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical training to practice your routine on.

Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.

Case studies:

You are required to complete 3 treatments as case studies.

Accreditation body:

* Associated Beauty Therapists (Pre requisite - Level 2 Beauty)

*IPHM (Pre requisite - A&P and Sports massage qualification)

Career Opportunities:

Self-Employment or Employment beauty therapist

Training material emailed to you. An accredited qualification is emailed to you on successful completion of the course.

Additional Costs:

You will need to purchase your own products (e.g. conducting gel), equipment (e.g. EMS machine) in order to carry out your case studies.
