Pre & Post event massage is used for working those key muscles before or after an athletic event.
Pre event massage - This involves a short warm up routine to be used immediately before a sporting event to warm the muscles as well as stretch the fibres and remove waste, enabling the muscles to work to their optimum potential.
Post event massage - This can be used post event and at interims between events to relax the muscles as well as spasms; remove waste, aid recovery & restore blood flow

Pre-requisites (entry level):
A Body Massage qualification and Anatomy & Physiology qualification
1 day practical + home study + case studies. Training material is accessed via our online portal
Health, safety & hygiene, client care & communications, anatomy & physiology, Pre & Post event massage.
1 day practical session available
The home study can be started at anytime, please ask for available course dates.
Group training = No, students will work on each other.
One to one training = Yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical
training to practice your routine on.
Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.
You are required to complete 3 treatments for each (3 pre & 3 post event massages) as case studies.

What’s included in the course fee:
Training pack - accessed online. A coursework tutor is assigned to you for full support throughout the course. An accredited certificate emailed to you on successful completion of the course.
